I went to bed last night under the blanket of a soothing, starry- starry sky! Oh how grateful my tired body was for such a peaceful way to relax into sleep after a very long, tiring and productive day.

Starry Starry Night

I started singing and doing the actions to -“Twinkle, twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are? Up above the world so high. Like a diamond in the sky.” Oh belly-laugh time! What am I doing singing nursery rhymes at 1.00 am?

Then “that” thought, you know the one I’m talking about. The one that comes out of nowhere and hits you like a tonne of bricks in the back of the head … yes that thought, and it is………JUST A THOUGHT.  I wonder if the stars are singing the same song back at us human beings? After all, we are supposedly a reflection of our world. “As above so below”- we’ve heard that phrase many times.

Then I drifted off into dream land.

“Arise from your slumber. Awake from your sleep.
A new day is dawning for all those who seek!”

What a breathtakingly, magical, moving experience of awakening to The Morning Star! Bathing in her glory and love!

Bright Morning Star

Wonder no more. The answer came from above, from below and from within! Don’t hide behind the clouds. It’s time to shine!  It’s time to be in awe and to be awesome!

“Gentle woman, quiet light,
Morning Star, so strong and bright,
Gentle mother, peaceful dove
Teach us wisdom. Teach us love.”
-Carey Landry

With love and gratitude to my Mother Moon, my Father Sun and all my Brother and Sister Stars!

Congratulations my beautiful friend you are a true natural talent and very generous for sharing with the rest of us!

  4. Hi Helen
Congratulations on your amazing children’s book – “Mirror Mirror”

Thank you for reading your book to the children at my Child Care centre, the children absolutely adored meeting “MeMe” and we discuss her daily in our classrooms.

The staff are loving the ease of teaching the Early Years Learning Framework you have so elegantly weaved throughout your story.!

We look forward to more “MeMe” adventures soon.
